How to change a blue sky background to white with layers in Photoshop

If you’re looking to change the color of your sky background, then this blog post is for you! By following the steps in this video, you’ll be able to change your blue sky background to a white background in no time!

1. Go to windows then channels

2. Turn off the view for all the channel except the blue channel

3. Duplicate the blue channel

4. Turn off the previous blue channel and keep the view on the Blue copy channel

5. Go to image and adjustments and levels

6. Change levels from 111 and 211 and then press OK

7. Go to channel and scroll down to the bottom and select load channel as a selection

8. Go to the rectangle marquee tool on your right

9. Move your cursor over the image of the tree and select inverese

10. Click on RGB on the channel

11. Go to layer and then layer mask

12. You have now removed the blue background sky of the image so the blue sky is now transparent

13.Save your image a jpeg and you will see your blue sky will be white in your image
